Aug 21, 2024 A Divine Encounter Leading to New Faith

One Sabbath evening in Zambia, as our gospel worker was riding home from church, he encountered a man who introduced himself as the headman of a nearby village.

“When I mentioned that I am a man of God, the headman eagerly requested Bible studies at his home.”

Thanks to the motorcycle, the gospel worker could easily travel to the headman’s village. The following week, the gospel worker and his team visited the headman. They were welcomed by not just the headman but also several others he had invited for the Bible study.

Week after week, the Bible studies continued. The headman’s home became a place of gathering, where the Word of God was shared, discussed, and embraced. The headman’s enthusiasm for the Bible studies was contagious, drawing more villagers to join the sessions. These gatherings became a source of spiritual growth and community bonding.

“At the end of the study session, the headman expressed his desire to join the Seventh-day Adventist Church and began attending our services regularly,” the gospel worker shared.

The headman is now one of the candidates eagerly awaiting baptism this month. His decision to follow the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church has not only impacted his life but also inspired many in his village to explore their faith more deeply.

This encounter exemplifies how divine appointments can lead to transformative changes in people’s lives. The enthusiasm and openness of the headman have inspired the team and the local community, highlighting the power of God’s Word to bring about unexpected blessings. The headman’s journey from curiosity to commitment serves as a powerful testimony of faith and dedication.

None of this would have been possible without the support of our generous donors. The motorcycles provided by Quiet Hour Ministries, made possible through your donations, have enabled our gospel workers to reach remote areas and touch lives in ways we never imagined. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who have supported us. Your contributions are making a significant impact in spreading the message of God’s love and truth.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21
