Apr 3, 2024 A House of Prayer for All People
An interesting experience occurred in the village of Ovidiopol in Odesa. The village itself has a population of 10,000, and the Adventist community consists of 10 members. This small church is eager to serve in their community, and to grow. As they planned for evangelism meetings, they organized a prayer for God to bring the guests.
Then they reached out to invite the community. They put up 100 posters. In spite of their prayers, everyone was worried that no one would attend. Then, a miracle happened! So many people came to the program that the prayer house could not accommodate them all! For the congregation, it was a huge miracle and an answer to their prayer that the House of Prayer would be filled with people.
This story is just one of many situations in Ukraine where churches are experiencing unprecedented results. Many people impacted by the war are now seeking hope. Our international partners are ready to help.
Quiet Hour Ministries has been sponsoring Bibles, gospel workers, and even food supplies in Ukraine and surrounding regions. Thousands of displaced people have found God’s hope and help in SDA churches. Please continue to pray for God’s peace, protection, and provision for all affected by the war.
“These I will bring to My holy mountain and give them joy in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56:7
