Mar 13, 2026 A Place We’re Proud to Call Our School

When Principal Samuel looks across the campus of the Seventh-day Adventist High School in Avanigadda, India, he sees more than freshly repaired doors and renovated dormitories.

He sees dignity restored.
He sees students encouraged.

Thanks to faithful donors of Quiet Hour Ministries, long-needed repairs and maintenance upgrades were recently completed on campus. Dormitories were renovated. New gates and security bars were installed. Damaged slab doors and broken windows were replaced. The buildings received a much-needed facelift—creating a safer, brighter learning environment for students who call this school home.

For the students, these improvements mean more than convenience.

Prasanna has studied at the school since the 7th grade and is now in 10th.

“We, the students, are very happy for the physical development of the girls’ dorm. Now we have better facilities, and my parents are happy to see the renovated dorm, doors, and windows. I thank you on behalf of all the students in the school. I hope these improvements enhance students’ interest in enrolling here.”

For Prasanna and her classmates, the renovated dorm isn’t just a building—it’s where they rest, study, pray, and dream about their future.

Ganesh began attending the school in 1st grade and is now in 9th.

“The slab doors and windows were in very bad condition, but now they have a new look. We are happy to come to school because of the brand-new facilities. Our parents are happy about the renovation, and we look forward to coming every day. Thank you for helping us.”

Imagine that: students excited to walk into school because their environment feels cared for.

In many parts of the world, Adventist schools operate with limited resources. Buildings age. Dormitories deteriorate. Windows break. Doors weaken. Over time, these physical conditions begin to affect morale, safety, and even enrollment.

But when donors step in to support construction and renovation:

  • Students gain a safe, uplifting learning environment
  • Dormitories become secure and comfortable
  • Parents feel confident sending their children
  • Schools are able to attract new students
  • Christian education continues to thrive

Physical improvements may seem simple—but they have long-term spiritual and educational impact.

The transformation at Avanigadda is a powerful reminder that construction projects are not just about cement and paint.

They are about- a girl studying in a well-lit dorm room, a boy proud of his school, and parents reassured that their children are safe.

There are many schools and ministry buildings around the world still waiting for repairs, expansions, and safe facilities.

Would you consider donating to construction and renovation projects like this?

Together, we’re not just repairing buildings.

We’re building environments where Christ’s name can be glorified.
