Aug 31, 2022 A Prophet Sees New Light

Let’s study the Bible together? You can share about your gift of prophecy, and we can share ours with you too, suggested the church member. Lami* and Ajani* agreed with the suggestion. They were curious about these church members that were going door-to-door inviting neighbors to study the Bible.

Lami was considered a prophet, and taught prophecy at his church. Ajani was a singer in the same church. They were both active in their church and were interested to study more. When the day came to study the Bible together, the group decided on several topics to cover.

The topics they selected were about God’s law and grace, the Biblical Sabbath, the immortality of soul, and the prophecies of the book of Daniel. After several days of Bible study, both the prophet Lami and the singer Ajani were convinced and accepted the Bible light that was new to them. Praise God they have both made decisions for baptism!

Many people have noticed the change in Lami and Ajani. Their friends from their former church have flocked to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. As a result, this church has experienced a spiritual revival and rejuvenation. Many more members have become involved in sharing with the home-to-home witnessing ministry. Additionally, this growth in the church has inspired members to donate whatever they haveÑcattle, grain, and moneyÑto support the church and spread the gospel in their community.

Now Ajani is using his talents of voice to sing in the SDA church, and Lami the prophet is preaching the Biblical prophecies in the book of Daniel that he learned from Adventist church members. Praise God for this wonderful revival of the Adventist Church in Guji and the surrounding area!
