Jun 17, 2020 Make an eternal impact: Five ways you can serve on a mission trip

Can you make a real, lasting difference in ten days? Yes! One of the things that surprises team members on QHM missions is what an incredible experience it is to discover how service changes lives. Here are just five ways QHM mission team members made a difference…and how you can too!

Staff a medical clinic

It is so exciting to make a difference for someone! On your next mission, you may be able to help someone see moreÑboth with their eyes and with their heart! Just volunteer to help in the daily free health clinics!

Build a house of worship

Having a beautiful place to gather and commune with Jesus each week is so inspiring for new and long-time believers alike! On your next. mission, help someone belong, both physically and spiritually! Just volunteer to help with the construction project!

Hang with the kids

Did you know that you can play and share Jesus at the same time? You may discover that you are having way more fun leading the children’s programs than you expected! Connecting with the little ones is something that Jesus told us is sacred. Just volunteer to help with the evening Friendship Hour!

Preach a sermon

You’ve never preached before? Guess what? God uses us to share Him with others, even when we are a little nervous! We often hear from team members that quickly discover what an incredible blessing it is to share their friend Jesus each eveningÑboth to those who have gathered to hear the good news and to themselves! Give it a try! Just volunteer to preach an evangelism series.

Change a life, energize a congregation

When we share Jesus, we see incredible life-changes around us. We see hope begin to grow in people who are struggling. We see a purpose spring up for the forgotten and downtrodden. Serving alongside our international partners, you’ll have an opportunity to change lives and energize others. All of us are eagerly awaiting the soon return of our Savior!

It’s time to you go out and preach the gospel of the kingdom, in words and actions, around the world as a testimony to all nations. Will you come?
