Dec 21, 2022 Meeting Needs and Sharing Jesus in Cambodia

Cambodia is a unique mission field, rich in culture, but also with many needs. Our international partners wanted to meet relevant needs along with introducing their neighbors to Jesus. So, we planned for a combined event including: evangelism meetings, health programs, and children’s programs.

These events took place for four days and three evenings, at the Prea Srae Church in Siam Reap, Cambodia. The general theme was I will go which emphasized total member involvement, and the topic was The Everlasting Gospel of the Three Angels. Community members were interested about the end-time warnings that Seventh-day Adventist Christians believed in.

From the first night to the last night, the number of people attending kept rising gradually from 150 people to 200 people. During the day there were health check-ups, health lectures and visitations. In the evenings, we had children’s programs and then meetings about Bible prophecy. Special gifts were also prepared to help the poor and elderly that came to the program.

Praise God! There were 14 precious souls who were touched and willing to surrender their lives to Jesus. They were baptized the following Sabbath, and there were about 200 people in attendance that special Sabbath.

Pastor Hang Dara shared, We’re so grateful to everyone who sacrificed their time and talents for this event. Also, we’re so thankful for all the QHM supporters and prayer warriorsÑGod is truly answering and blessing.

Please continue to pray for our international partners and believers in challenging mission fields like Cambodia. Visit our website to see how you can get involved in mission around the world!

I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart. Jeremiah 24:7
