Feb 27, 2026 One Leaflet. One Gospel Worker. Two Lives Changed.
It seemed like such a small thing.
A simple leaflet handed out on a quiet Sabbath afternoon in Addis Ababa.
But behind that leaflet stood something far greater — a trained, faithful gospel worker committed to reaching souls.
That day, one of those tracts was placed into the hands of Mr. Bizuwond — a former minister who had served for years as a spiritual leader in his hometown. Curious about the message, he paused to read as he walked.
What caught his attention was the biblical truth about the seventh-day Sabbath.
It was new to him. Stirring. Unsettling in the best way.
And that’s when gospel worker Tsegaye approached him.
Because of his training and commitment, Tsegaye didn’t just distribute literature — he followed up. He offered Bible studies. He invested time. He patiently opened Scripture. He answered questions. He walked alongside Mr. Bizuwond and his wife, Mrs. Martha, week after week.
Light replaced confusion. Truth replaced uncertainty.
A few weeks later, at a grand evangelistic meeting in Addis Ababa’s Millennium Hall, both Mr. Bizuwond and Mrs. Martha publicly committed their lives to Christ and were baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Today, they are not only faithful members — they are sharing their testimony with others.
But here is the deeper truth:
This story did not begin with a leaflet.
It began with a gospel worker.
Someone trained. Someone sent. Someone supported.
Tsegaye is able to equip members, conduct Bible studies, organize outreach, and lead evangelistic meetings because faithful partners make it possible.
Without gospel workers, the leaflets aren’t distributed.
Without gospel workers, the Bible studies don’t happen.
Without gospel workers, the follow-up never comes.
Without gospel workers, stories like this remain unwritten.
Across the world, there are countless men and women like Mr. Bizuwond — searching, questioning, ready — but they need someone to reach them.
Will you help place more gospel workers in communities that are waiting?
Your gift today equips gospel workers to train members, distribute literature, conduct Bible studies, and lead people to baptism.
One gospel worker.
One conversation.
One life changed.
And sometimes — an entire family transformed.
When you support gospel workers, you are placing truth into searching hands.
Will you help send the next one?
