Aug 25, 2021 Reaching our neighbors in Argentina

What talents has God given you to share the gospel? You don’t have to be a pastor to share God’s word and the hope we have in Jesus. To some believers, God gives teaching skills, to others, skills of friendship evangelism. These are just a very few examples spiritual gifts and talents.

In Argentina, the Lord is multiplying the talents of His people Ñ the church is alive and growing! QHM has been able to support two more gospel workers, for the JosŽ C Paz church. The whole church is also participating in outreach efforts with their time, talents, prayers, and other forms of support.

A lot of time has been spent on prayer and meetings about how to best reach their community for Christ. The church feels they need to share Jesus starting in their local community first.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1:8

The JosŽ C Paz church had an outreach program and set up several tables in the neighborhood sharing spiritual books and inviting people to Bible studies. Praise God! They have been abundantly blessed with the following response:

– 150 face-to-face Bible studies given by church members/lay people

– 120 face-to-face Bible studies performed by gospel workers

– 104 people who are interested in Bible studies after interacting with the team from our last outreach

– 31 individuals who are preparing to get baptized next month

Jesus said to them, The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. Luke 10:2

Please pray God’s work will continue in Argentina and around the world. Pray that the Lord will continue to pour out His Spirit as we share about Jesus’ soon coming!
