Dec 31, 2025 Take a Quiet Moment Before the Countdown

Before the calendar turns, we invite you to pause—just for a few moments—and take some quiet time with Jesus. 

This is a sacred space to breathe deeply, to remember God’s faithfulness, and to listen for His voice.  

It’s in these still moments that Jesus restores our hearts, gives clarity for the future, and reminds us that with every passing day, we are drawing nearer to His return—a truth that fills us with both joy and hope. 

Before stepping into a new season, let’s take time to sit with Him, reflect, give thanks, and pray. 

Find a quiet place. Take a breath. Invite the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts. 

Here are a few reflection prompts to help you process the year with Jesus: 

Personal Reflection Questions 

• Where did I experience God’s presence this year—big or small? 

• What prayers did Jesus answer that I may have forgotten to celebrate? 

• What challenges did I walk through, and how did God sustain me? 

• What moments shaped my faith in a deeper way? 

• What is Jesus inviting me to surrender before entering the new year? 

As you reflect, remember that Jesus sees every tear, every victory, every moment of endurance, and every quiet act of faithfulness. 

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 

Guided Prayers for the New Year 

As you reflect on this past year before the Lord, here are four guided prayer themes to help you connect your heart to His. 

1. Prayer for Your Family 

Guided Prayer: 
Jesus, thank You for the gift of my family. Bring unity where there is distance, healing where there is pain, and protection over every loved one. Draw our hearts closer to You and closer to each other as we prepare for the year ahead. 

Scripture: Joshua 24:15 

2. Prayer for Your Friends & Community 

Guided Prayer: 
Lord, bless the friendships You have placed in my life. Strengthen the ones that reflect Your love, restore any that are strained, and help me be a light to those who need encouragement and hope. 

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:11 

3. Prayer for Your Health & Strength 

Guided Prayer: 
Jesus, You are my healer, my strength, and my peace. Renew my mind, restore my body, and steady my emotions. Give me the endurance I need to walk faithfully in the calling You’ve given me. 

Scripture: Isaiah 40:29 

4. Prayer for Peace & Direction 

Guided Prayer: 
Father, quiet my anxious thoughts. Lead me with Your peace. Speak clearly as I make decisions for the year ahead. I trust that Your plans are good and that You will guide me every step of the way. 

Scripture: Proverbs 3:6 

A Year Closer to His Return 

As we reflect, one truth stirs our hearts with excitement: each passing year brings us closer to the return of Jesus. 

This isn’t a reason for fear—it’s a source of hope, joy, and urgency. 

Jesus is coming again. 

And until that day, we here at QHM continue the work He’s entrusted to us—loving people, carrying hope, sharing the gospel, and building His Kingdom. 

Stepping Into the New Year With Jesus 

Before you move on to celebrations or resolutions, linger just a little longer with Jesus. Let Him speak peace over the parts of the year that felt heavy. Let Him celebrate with you the victories you may have overlooked. Let Him remind you of His promises, His nearness, and His unfailing love.
