We believe that the Word of God brings about transformation, healing, and hope in the lives of individuals and communities. Financial position and literacy rate shouldn’t cause people to be unable to experience and live His Word.

Recently, local church leaders paid a visit to the chief and elders of Sambuli, a farming community in Ghana, which highlighted just how deeply the Scripture can touch lives when given access through our God Pod (audio Bibles) distribution project.

The local church leader’s goal was simple in this meeting with the chief – seek permission to hold a God Pod distribution in his village. 

But what happened next was nothing short of extraordinary.

“When we presented the chief and his elders with God Pods in Konkomba, their native language, we were moved by its profound impact on them,” said Pastor George. “The chief was especially touched by the ability to hear the Scriptures in his language for the first time. He expressed his amazement and deep appreciation, saying, “Your God Pod works like magic in my community. We can now listen to the Word of God in our language. This God Pod is the best thing I have ever listened to. I carry it like a cell phone everywhere I go. My family always gathers around the God Pod every evening to listen to the Word of God.”

For the people of Sambuli, the God Pod became more than just a tool; it became a literal connection to the Word and to each other.  

But the impact didn’t just stop there.

During our second visit, one of the elders to the chief had experienced a powerful personal transformation. He shared with us how listening to the God Pod had changed his life in ways he could never have imagined.

He explained, “My life changed the day you visited us in the palace and gave us the God Pod. Whenever I listen to the God Pod, it feels like God Himself is speaking directly to me. From that moment on, every time I took alcohol, I felt disturbed inside, like something was wrong. So, I decided to stop drinking, and now I have peace deep within me.”

This powerful testimony shows the true power of Scripture to convict hearts and bring about lasting change. 

The God Pod didn’t just offer this elder a new way to experience the Word—it helped him overcome a long-standing struggle and find peace in his life.
