Dec 1, 2020 Yes, we are still thanks giving!
In the Southern Mindanao Mission, the good news of Jesus is spreading quickly! Despite the pandemic, small groups gather together for humble baptisms in the ocean, lakes and even swimming pools! What an exciting reason to extend our thanks giving this season! Praise God!
But once they accept Jesus, where do these new believers find support and a church home as their faith grows? With the help of generous donors, a new project called QHM Cares–reaching across borders has continued during pandemic restrictions. In the Southern Mindanao Mission, QHM Cares helped fund new jungle chapels to nurture these growing congregations!
Our earthly plans may be disrupted unexpectedly, but God’s plans always remain undisrupted! He calls on us to share the gospel in even challenging circumstances. By supporting our partners’ outreach efforts worldwide, the work of sharing Jesus safely and carefully has thrived during this pandemic.
Which highlights one more thing the QHM team and international partners are grateful for: you. Your continued support of outreach projects, your prayers, your commitment to Jesus is so deeply felt by our brothers and sisters around the world. And that doesn’t stop even during a pandemic.
Recently, Pastor Rene Rosa in the Philippines shared:
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! Despite the pandemic disturbances of the church missions projects, we are grateful to send reports of our Jungle Chapel projects you have funded. Here are some that have been reported. Lambangan Church at Tupi, South Cotabato; Kulasisihan Church at Carmen, North Cotabato; and Kibala Church at Malungon, Sarangani Province. Thank you and God bless!
Here are some of Pastor Rosa’s beautiful pictures! Together, we praise God from whom all blessings flow! QHM is prepared to return to the field as soon as it is safe and possible. But right now, your support is more important than ever. Please consider a generous yearend gift to keep making room for new believers!
