Aug 13, 2025 You Put the Gospel in Motion

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20

The Holy Spirit has been in thousands of homes because of the motorcycles that were donated to the Luapula Zambia Conference.

More specifically, 34,342 homes. Where 28,347 Bible studies took place. The gospel workers also hosted personal ministries seminars, coupled with community services to people who were hit by drought, stewardship lessons, and health seminars.

This is all because of eight motorcycles. Because of the dedication of these gospel workers, 8,402 people are in Bible studies, most students are young people who are, in turn, sharing Christ with their peers in their communities.

Through the Bible studies, so far 3,195 people have chosen Jesus to be their savior and were baptized.

Five new congregations have been established, and eight existing congregations have been elevated to full church status.

These motorcycles have enabled district leaders to cover an average mileage of 30,000 miles over the course of the project.

The motorcycles lead the gospel workers to Donald.

Mr. Mutale had reached out to the local church leaders and requested someone to visit him.

When the gospel workers arrived, they were greeted by Donald and his wife, and the quickly explained why they had requested them to visit them.

Donald had been accused by a witch doctor of practicing witchcraft, and he was told he could not bathe for a week and to avoid getting caught in the rain.

It is currently the rainy season, which explains why he wanted us to visit him, so he could avoid going out too far.

He was told that if he bathed or rain fell on him, he was going to die.

After he explained his situation, the gospel workers asked him about his past. A while back, his child had been struck by lightning and survived. His father and uncles told him that he needed to protect himself from the people who were trying to kill his child with lightning, so they tattooed him with symbols that would “grant him protection”.

What he didn’t know was that those tattoos were an initiation into witchcraft.

The gospel workers took the time to share with Donald the Word of God and show him that Christ is the only one who could protect him.

Donald, reaching out to the gospel workers wasn’t by accident. It happened because the gospel workers had motorcycles—vehicles that carried not just people, but the Good News itself. Donald had heard of their work in his village.

Now, homes are filled with hope. Entire churches have been born. Thousands have met Jesus.

Eight motorcycles. Thousands of homes. One Savior.

Let’s keep the wheels turning.
